SUMMARY:Learn To Ski Days!
DESCRIPTION:Reminder/el recordatorio \nDear Parents\,\nLearn to ski days are right around the corner. As you are aware\, we will have these days on\nMonday and Tuesday\, February 9 and 10. Please find planning information below. \nDrop off/Pick up\n● Students should be dropped off on Monday and Tuesday at the Beaver Creek Elk Lot\nin Avon. Drop off is between 8:15 and 8:30 a.m. on both days. Students need to\ncheck in with their homeroom teacher at the parking lot. Students will then be\nreleased to their ski instructors after checking in with teachers.\n● Pick up at the end of the day will be between 3:30 and 3:45 p.m. in the Elk Lot.\nStudents need to check out with their homeroom when being picked up.\n● The Eagle/Gypsum bus will run in the morning at the usual time. It will drop off at the\nusual stops in Eagle and Gypsum in the afternoon\, but 30 minutes later than usual.\nPlease plan accordingly. \nLunch:\n● Students need to bring a sack lunch in a disposable gallon Ziplock bag with their\nname\, grade and school clearly printed on the bag. No lunch boxes please.\n● Do not pack any food that needs to be heated\, and all lunch items should be\ndisposable. \nGear:\n● Students names should be on all equipment\, including clothing\n● Students should bring waterproof gloves or mittens\, a warm jacket\, snow pants\,\ngoggles\, hat\, neck gator/scarf\, as well as boots for walking. Sunscreen needs to be\napplied prior to arrival at ski school. \n● If a student has their own equipment please label the equipment clearly with the\nchild’s first and last name as well as the school’s initials (SCA). Student-owned\nequipment should be dropped off directly at Beaver Creek (in the Elk Lot during\ncheck-in on Monday or directly at the Ski School). Skis\, poles and snowboards should\nnot be brought on the bus. Student equipment should be picked up by parents on\nTuesday afternoon during student pick up (and not sent home on the bus). \nThank you and please contact the office with any questions. \nGod bless\, \nSister Regina Marie\, RSM
