Outside the Classroom
At St. Clare, learning doesn’t stop when the final bell rings. Our second through 8th grade after-school programs give students opportunities to explore new interests, develop talents, and build friendships in a safe and supportive environment. From arts and academics to STEM and service, these programs foster curiosity, confidence, and collaboration.

Choir
Develop musical skills and prepare weekly to perform at daily Mass and other events including our Christmas Eve Children's Mass.

Drama Club
Drama Club is an engaging after-school program where students explore creativity through performance, music, and storytelling. Participants build confidence and communication skills as they practice acting techniques, vocal expression, and stage presence. Through performance, students develop imagination, self-expression, and a deeper appreciation for the performing arts in a supportive and fun environment.

Drone Club
Students will learn to build and safely fly drones while preparing to compete in an exciting hands-on competition that develops engineering skills, teamwork, and problem-solving.

Robotics Club
Hands-on engineering and problem-solving projects including building your own robot. This year, the club will also include a drone component in partnership with the Academy of Model Aeronautics.

Chess Club
An engaging after-school program that encourages strategic thinking, focus, and sportsmanship through instruction, practice, and friendly competition. Players of all skill levels are welcome to build strategy, problem-solving skills, and confidence while playing with friends.

Spanish Club
Explore language and culture in a fun, interactive way while also developing grammatical skills and expanding vocabulary.
