Nurturing Every Learner
At St. Clare, every student is valued as a unique learner. Our support services are designed to help each child thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Through individualized attention, small-group instruction, and personalized learning strategies, we ensure that all students have the resources and guidance they need to grow with confidence.
Academic Support Team
In addition to our classroom teachers, we are blessed with a dedicated Academic Support Team who work together to strengthen core skills and reinforce classroom learning.
Ms. Kathy Hall and Ms. Elizabeth James specialize in literacy support, helping students build strong foundations in reading, writing, and grammar. They provide targeted instruction, small-group practice, and individualized guidance that fosters confidence and steady growth.
Ms. Brenda Posey offers specialized support in mathematics, helping students deepen understanding, solidify essential skills, and approach new concepts with clarity and assurance.
Sarah Robinson, our Student Services Coordinator, supports the team by managing student schedules and coordinating services. Her behind-the-scenes work helps ensure that each student receives the appropriate support at the right time.
Additionally, all K-3 literacy teachers have been trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach, which is rooted in the Science of Reading and aligns with the Fundations Curriculum. This proven, multisensory methodology ensures that our students gain strong, lasting literacy skills.
Together, this team ensures that students receive the encouragement, attention, and personalized instruction needed to thrive at every stage of their academic journey.
We are called to love God and one another.
When we align with God and our purpose, we are destined for happiness.
