The Sacraments

Sacramental preparation is one of the many blessings of a Saint Clare Education. Students are prepared during the school year as part of their normal classes, ensuring they are ready for the Sacraments of First Confession, Confirmation, and First Holy Communion.

In second grade, students prepare for their First Confession. They celebrate their forest reception of Sacrament towards the end of their second grade year. They are given many opportunities to return to the Sacrament throughout the rest of their time at Saint Clare.

In third grade, students prepare to receive Confirmation and First Holy Communion. Each year, we are able to celebrate the Sacraments in our own school in April or May with the Archbishop or his auxiliary Bishop coming from Denver to celebrate.

Families are actively included throughout the process, ensuring that these milestones become treasured memories shared at home and at school.

Channels of God's Love

Through the sacraments, Christ dispenses His grace and draws us into deeper communion with Him.
