Sister Marie Faustina Honored by the Archdiocese of Denver as an Exemplary History Teacher

Sister Marie Faustina, RSM was honored by the Archdiocese of Denver Office of Catholic Schools for her excellence in teaching history! She was one of just 13 teachers selected from hundreds of history teachers across the Archdiocese to receive the award, which included a cash prize.

Sister Marie Faustina, RSM has played an important role in the renewal of the history curriculum at St. Clare of Assisi School, serving as a pioneer and resource for fellow educators. Her expertise has also been recognized beyond St. Clare; last spring, she was invited to present to elementary school teachers at the Archdiocesan History Symposium.

We are grateful for Sister Marie Faustina’s dedication to history education and for the many ways she enriches the education of our students. Congratulations, Sister Marie Faustina, RSM!

St. Clare of Assisi Catholic School is blessed to have the Religious Sisters of Mercy of Alma, Michigan serving our school community. Rooted in their charism of Mercy, the Sisters are called to serve the Church through a particular focus on education and healthcare. They profess a fourth vow of service to the poor, sick, and ignorant, seeking to bring God’s mercy to those they encounter.
